We provide Employer’s Agent and Project Manager contract administration services both independently and in conjunction with our Quantity Surveying roles. McNaughts provides management solutions for complex building projects working in different sectors of the industry.
Project Brief and Objectives
By identifying project budgets, risks and constraints we can advise on the appropriate procurement routes and most suitable forms of contract, warranties and other supplementary agreements. We work with our clients to develop a Project Execution Plan which will define the key project criteria, establish the lines of communication and allow an opportunity for members of the team to improve procedures for the benefit of the project.
Building the Team
Project complexity, procurement route and form of contract will determine the requirements of the project team. McNaughts are able to assist you in the appointment of consultants, progressing project design and selecting contractors to ensure the requirements of the project and contract are fulfilled.
Programming and Progress Monitoring
All parties should be involved in preparing and formalising project programmes to encourage a shared responsibility. We will monitor and report on progress throughout the works. A collaborative approach is beneficial to mitigate any potential delays.
Contract Administration
McNaughts has experience in the drafting and managing standard forms of contract such as JCT, NEC, PPC2000 (and other partnering contracts), as well as bespoke forms of agreements.
